Allegany County District Attorney: Grand Jury indicts Wellsville man after July 3 shooting

Attempted murder is among the four felony charges

Defendant’s Name:  Gregory S. Miller

Address:  Wellsville, New York       

Charges:      Attempted Murder 2nd (class B felony)
Assault 1st (class B felony)   
Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st (class B felony)
Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (class C felony)       

Court Appearance Date:  August 21, 2024

Proceedings:  Gregory Miller has been indicted by a grand jury for 4 felony counts, including Attempted Murder.  It is alleged that on July 3rd in the Town of Wellsville, Miller shot another individual following a brief disagreement.  Miller will be arraigned on the indictment in Allegany County Court at a future date.
