Corinn Marriott will begin work soon on mural featuring Wellsville “landmarks”
From the Wellsville Chamber of Commerce,
WELLSVILLE, NY – On August 1st, the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce (WACOC) celebrated its 100th anniversary, having been chartered in 1924. As part of their anniversary celebration, the Chamber commissioned a ‘WELLSVILLE’ mural to be painted on the side of L’Italia; adding vibrancy and energy to our community through art.
The artist, Corinn Marriott, will begin work on the mural August 19th. The initial concept is designed to accommodate expansion in the future to include additional area landmarks if funds become available. You are invited to leave your mark on Wellsville by supporting the Chamber’s Mural Project.
If you wish to be part of this historic project, there are a couple ways to donate. Any amount is welcome. However, if the donation is $500.00 or more, your name or the name of your business will be included on a plaque that will be placed below the mural.
