Jill Dunbar of Holland, NY passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY at the age of 92.
She was born on October 29, 1931 in Wellsville, NY and was a daughter of the late Clifford and Ethel (Carlin) Stocum. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Holland and was a devoted Christian. She previously taught Sunday School and served God for many years.
Her husband, Dorr C. Dunbar, Sr. whom she married on August 30, 1952 in Scio, NY, survives. Jill is also survived by her children: Dorr C. (Tracy) Dunbar, Jr. of Texas, Dixie (Mark) Leffler of Grand Island, NY, Rebecca (John) Schueler of Holland, NY and Kimberly Larson of Texas; her sisters, Dawn Downs of Florida and Dixie Monroe of Bolivar, NY as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 1-3pm and 4-6pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade, NY where a Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6pm. Rev. Mike Hoppe will officiate. Final interment will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 11am at the Knights Creek Cemetery in Scio, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Holland, 125 N. Main St., Holland, NY 14080.
