Wellsville Cub Scouts host Pinewood Derby

Cub Scouts from Wellsville Pack 733 , sponsored by the Lutheran Church in Wellsville and Angelica Pack 736 sponsored by Hill Warner American Legion Post 414, met today on the park circle at the Angelica Campus of KonXions United Methodist Church to have their first annual pinewood derby. Pack 736 hosted with their newly refurbished derby race track ( A big thank you Ray! )

Fifteen scouts with fifteen hand-built race cars battled it out to find the fastest cars. The judges also picked a car for the best of show and most creative.

Pack 736 had the following winners 3rd place Karson “Cash” Osterhaut; 2nd Vincent Smith and 1st Bruce Bowen.  Theodore Mesker-Singleton’s car was picked as most creative.

Pack 733 turned in the rest as 3rd place Adalynn Johnson; 2nd place Trinity Schuster and winner John Stebbins. Logan Flamini was awarded best of show.

A big thank you to all the parents, scouts and judges that helped make the day complete!!
