Student vocalists raising money for April trip to New York City
From W.A.V.E,
Come out and support your local student musicians! The Wellsville Area Vocal Ensemble (W.A.V.E.) is hosting a FREE cookie dessert concert on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:00 pm in the Wellsville Secondary School Cafeteria. They will be performing classic songs like “Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In” from the rock musical Hair, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and the jazz standard “Take FIve.” There will also be featured solos and duets. The specialty cookies served will be made by BOCES culinary students. The concert and cookies are free with donations greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go towards their upcoming music festival and choral competition in New York City in April.
