The child was found on Jackson Hill. Belfast Fire and Rescue issued this statement just before midnight:
“The missing person in question today has been found (safe). Thank you all for the shares of the posts that were going around. Its nice to see you all come together and have so many reach out willing to walk or drive if needed. We were operating only under the direction of the New York State Police and did not have a definite direction of travel to stage that type of search.”
