Jones Memorial Hospital welcomes Jason Szabo, PA to the orthopedic staff

 Jones Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Jason Szabo, PA to their orthopedic team. Jason will be joining Dr. Paul Axtell and Dr. Ali Mansour at the 191 N. Main St, Wellsville location, providing care to patients in the clinic and assisting in the OR. 

Jason, a native to Wellsville, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Studies from RIT and then received his Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Daemen college in Amherst.

“We’re excited to have someone with Jason’s extensive skill set and orthopedic experience joining our team at Jones,” stated Jim Helms, CEO. “Jason helps us fulfill our continued commitment to bring advanced healthcare services to our local community by rounding out our orthopedic team.” He went on to state that “Because of Jason’s experience we can expand access to patients and decrease wait times for much needed care.”

Jason Szabo is a certified member of the NCCPA and is licensed in PA as a medical Physician Assistant as well. He holds a professional rescuer CPR and ACLS certification.

The Jones Memorial Orthopedic team offers a variety of services to patients including, total knee and hip replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, surgical repair of fractures, and sport-related procedures. Dr. Mansour, of the Jones Memorial Orthopedic team, is the only hand & wrist specialized surgeon in the area and offers surgical and non-surgical treatment options for conditions including fractures, arthritis, carpal tunnel, trigger finger, and wrist injuries and instability.
