Hibernians put a big donation into the “Red Kettle” in Wellsville

John Embser of the Ancient Order of Hibernians with the Salvation Army

From the Allegany County Chapter AOH,

John Embser, of the Allegany County Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) presented a $250.00 Check Donation to Emily of the Wellsville Salvation Army to help them meet their 2023 Red Kettle Fund Drive Goals this year.  The Salvation Army will have their Red kettles set up in Wellsville at 4 locations at the entrances of Tops Friendly Markets, The Giant Food Mart, Save-A-Lot Food Mart and Runnings.   The Red Kettles will be staffed through Christmas Eve in the locations noted. 

John Embser noted that “the local Salvation Army Office has expanded the number of families that they help fight hunger and poverty and our Local Allegany County AOH Division is proud to help them along with our other local charities that we try to support.”   John and the local AOH Division wish everyone “Nollaig Shona” which is a Happy Christmas.
