Officers make felony grand larceny and sex offender arrests

Wellsville Police arrested Cody A. Brown, age 27 of Friendship, charging him with Grand Larceny 4th (Class E Felony) and Criminal Mischief 3rd (Class E Felony). The charges stem from an incident that took place on Chamberlain Street in July. Brown was processed and arraigned before Town of Wellsville Justice Graves. Brown was released and is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 17th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Adam C. Satterlee, age 44 currently incarcerated in the Allegany County Jail, charging him with a Sex Offender Registry Violation (Class D Felony) for failing to register an address. The charge stems from an incident that took place in August and September of 2023. Satterlee was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Satterlee was returned to the Allegany County Jail on no bail and is due to answer the charge in Allegany County Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested a Wellsville woman, age 45, charging her with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor). The charge stems from an incident that took place at 7 Eleven on September 17th. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due in Wellsville Village Court on October 3rd at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested a Wellsville man, age 41 , charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th (Class A Misdemeanor). The charge stems from an incident that took place on South Main Street on July 11th. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on October 3rd at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested a Wellsville woman, age 35, charging her with Harassment 2nd (Violation). The charges stem from an incident that took place Pleasant Street on August 22nd. She was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 3rd at 4:30 pm.
