Clyde Edward Morris, 70, former Allegany county resident

CLYDE EDWARD MORRIS 70 of 3605 Main St. Hinsdale NY 14743, formerly of Friendship, Scio and Wellsville, passed away shortly after arrival at Olean General Hospital on Friday June 16, 2023.

Born on July 13,1952 in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of Lloyd A and Laura J Armstrong Morris. 

Clyde preferred to be called Ed.

Ed worked for Rochester Button Company for many years until, he decided to become his own boss and then became a self-employed contractor and done a lot of carpentry for many people

Ed was always there to lend a helping hand for anyone that needed it.

Surviving are one sister June (James) Eaton of Wellsville,NY, a brother Bruce (Marge) Chandler of Scio, NY, and a step son Jerry (Amy) Harris of Allentown, NY who was more than a step-son to him. 

Also a special friend Gerald Mitchell from Duke Center, PA. and several nieces and nephews.

Ed was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, George T Morris Sr., Allen L. Morris Sr., Leslie C. Morris  and two sisters Pauline J. Otto, Mari L Petrillo , and two nephews George T. Morris Jr., and Allen L. Morris Jr.

There was no services. Rinker Funeral Home was entrusted with his care. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetary , Friendship, NY 

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association , Diabetes Association or to whomever the donor chooses.
