Two Angelica residents arrested for felony child abuse

NYS Police charge both with felony assault of a children under 7 years of age

On August 10, 2023, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Amity arrested Ravyn M. Cramer, 26 for Assault 2nd degree- Injuries person less than 7 years old (2 counts) D Felony, Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Tyler J. Cramer, 28 both of Angelica, NY was arrested for Assault 3rd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

On August 9, 2023, Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation started an investigation on a possible child abuse incident in the village of Angelica. Investigation determined that Ravyn shoved two children’s faces in feces as a form of punishment leaving injuries to the children under 7 years of age. The Children both received medical attention at a near by hospital. Child Protective Services were contacted to assist in this investigation.

Both Cramer’s were arrested and processed at SP Amity and arraigned at the town of Friendship Court. Both were released and to appear at the village of Angelica Court later in September 2023.
