A Belmont NY man is behind bars after what appears to have been a dangerous arrest for police. Terry G. Hilliard, 44, from Belmont was charged with two counts of felony Menacing a Police/Peace Officer. Based on the misdemeanor charges filed against Hilliard, this was a serious incident. Along with the felony charges, he was arrested for Menacing with a Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing the Government, and Criminal Trespass.

Hilliard was HELD at the Allegany County Jail awaiting court action. Read the list of charges:

In a less violent arrest, state police have filed charged against a man from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a laundry list of crimes. One could draw all sorts of conclusions from these charges against Waseem Ali, age 27 in the town of Friendship NY. The felony charges indicated a serious financial crime took place involving large sums of money, forged government documents, and conspiracy. The misdemeanor charges throw all sorts of possibilities into the incident. Making a False Financial Statement and Impersonation of a Public Servant leave this to anyone’s guess.

According to the arrest report Ali made “Cash Bail,” and is expected back in the Town of Friendship court in the near future. Read the full list of charges filed against Ali:
