The legacy of Richard Fleischman makes Dyke Street Engine Company history
History was made at tonight’s July engine company meeting when the first ever 4th Generation firefighter was voted in the Dyke Street Engine Company.
Jadyn Fleischman (center), pictured with her grandfather, Past Chief/Captain John Fleischman (left), and father, Past Chief/Captain Kevin Fleischman (right) after tonight’s meeting. Jadyns late great grandfather Richard Fleischman was also a past department chief, and company Captain. Welcome aboard Jadyn as one of the three new probationary firefighters voted in tonight. We would also like to welcome probationary firefighters Andrew Myers, and Brennan Ridley to the company.
