The hard working folks at the Wellsville Development Corporation just made a very exciting announcement. They have partnered with Giant Food Mart to create a all new Main Street festival that celebrates Wellsville’s amazing food.

Giant Food Mart’s new owners, the Kusmierski Family, are focused on making a positive impact on the community they serve. Nick Kusmierski explains:

“When we invested in Giant Food Mart we also invested in Wellsville and Cuba communities. We want to be involved in these communities and make them more vibrant. Working with the Wellsville Development Corporation on the “Taste of Wellsville,” is exactly the kind of community event we hoped to help bring to Main Street.”

The Wellsville Development Corporation(WDC,) made this big announcement yesterday:

📣“The WDC is proud to announce that we’ve been working with Giant Food Mart to bring a brand new event to Wellsville. Join us Saturday, August 19th for a farmers’ market meets street festival style event — Taste of Wellsville: Food Fest & Market — sponsored by Giant Food Mart!

🍽️This festival will be held on Main Street and will feature Wellsville’s local food as well as be an opportunity for local businesses, makers, artisans, farms, and more to gather. This event is open to ALL small and local businesses — whether you’re from Wellsville or a surrounding area — we want you to apply to be a vendor! Stay tuned for more information!
