Courtney Marie Clark, 33, Shinglehouse

Courtney Marie CLARK, 33, of Shinglehouse, PA, died Friday, June 2, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  Born February 8, 1990, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Jeffrey Clark and Hope M. Cooper. 

Courtney attended Filmore High School and was a 2008 graduate of Andover Central School.  She was employed by Glenn O. Hawbaker as a scale operator and lab technician.  Courtney touched so many people in her short time here on Earth.  She was a force of nature in all our lives.  She had the most beautiful soul, personality, and smile.  Courtney loved her family, friends, and her puppies, Winnie and Tallie, with all her heart.  

Surviving are:  a son, Zachery Hockenberry of Shinglehouse;  her boyfriend, William McDowell of Shinglehouse;  her mother, Hope Cooper of Belmont;  her father, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Clark of Rushford;  a step-brother, Trevor Clark of Belmont;  maternal grandparents, James and Sandra Cooper of Belmont;  paternal grandmother, Sylvia Clark of Belfast;  an aunt, Sherry Cooper of Belmont;  many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.  

She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Hyland Clark;  and an uncle, Hyland Clark Jr.  Friends may call at OLNEY-FOUST Funeral Homes & Cremation, Crowell Chapel, 296 North Main Street, Wellsville, NY on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 3:00 – 5:00 PM.  

A gathering to celebrate Courtney’s life will be announced on a later date.  Memorials may be made to SPCA Serving Allegany County.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.wellsvillefuneralhome.com.
