Frank Clark, pictured
Frank Clark is a prototypical hand in the dirt 4-3 defensive end at 6’3 272 pounds. Clark has impressive speed and bend off the edge, as well as possessing a full repertoire of pass rushing moves. At just 29, Clark has a lot left in the tank, and would be a perfect bookend opposite Von Miller.
Myles Jack
Myles Jack is an undersized linebacker at 6’1 245 pounds, but is only 27 and offers scheme versatility. Jack has quick feet as well as the speed and athleticism to turn and run in coverage. While not a. prototypical middle linebacker, Jack is a perfect fit for a defense that plays a lot of nickel.
Yannick Ngakoue
Yannick Ngakoue is worth a flier because he’s only 28 however, he should not be viewed as an every down player, but rather as a situational pass rusher. At 6’2 246 pounds, Ngakoue is not a prototypical 4-3 defensive end, but his speed around the edge and ability to get to the quarterback can’t be ignored. Ngakoue struggles immensely in run support therefore, he should not be considered a three down defender.
Marcus Peters
Marcus Peters would be an inexpensive veteran option to add depth at the cornerback position. At age 30, Peters is not the player he once was however, his coverage ability and ball skills are unquestioned. At 6’0 197 pounds, Peters excels in man-to-man coverage, which I expect to see more of next season.
