The 2023 NFL Draft is officially in the books. The three day event was filled with drama, excitement, and a few surprises. Every draft there are winners and losers, and this year was no exception. One of this years winners was the Buffalo Bills, despite making only six selections.

Dalton Kincaid

In round one, the Bills selected Utah tight end Dalton Kincaid. The Bills traded up two spots from 27 to 25 ahead of the tight end needing Dallas Cowboys in order to make the pick. At 6’4 246 pounds, Kincaid is a pass catching tight end with great athleticism and above average blocking skills. Kincaid led all FBS tight ends with 70 receptions this passed season and was rated the top tight end in this years class. The duo of Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox will be a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses.

O’Cyrus Torrence

In the second round, the Bills selected Florida guard O’Cyrus Torrence. At 6’5 330 pounds, Torrence is a massive, road grading guard with strength and quick feet. In his entire college career, Torrence did not allow a single sack. Torrence should help improve the running game and keep quarterback Josh Allen upright. O’Cyrus Torrence is a day one plug and play starter.

Dorian Williams

In round three, the Bills selected Tulane linebacker Dorian Williams. Williams is a 6’2 230 pound tackling machine with great instincts and speed. Dorian Williams has sideline to sideline range and above average coverage skills, but is not a true middle linebacker. It will be interesting to see where he fits in the Bills defense.

Justin Shorter

In the fifth round, the Bills selected Florida wide receiver Justin Shorter. Shorter is a big bodied outside receiver at 6’4 232 pounds. Justin Shorter has strong hands and an incredible catch radius. He ran a 4.55 40-yard dash, but plays faster on tape.
