Live music starts at 7pm in the Nancy Howe Auditorium
After several years, Girl Love, also known as Sorrow Estate, is returning to the Nancy Howe Auditorium of the David A. Howe Library in Wellsville, NY, on Friday, April 14, at 7 p.m. This concert is free and open to the public.
Girl Love is a queer folk pop trio bringing an eclectic blend of story and soul. Lead singer, Laura Beth Johnson, is joined by Marc and Hannah LeGrand on a musical journey through jazz, folk, and pop. Their debut album is set to be released this April boasting whimsical waltzes, poetic folk tunes, and jazzy power ballads. Laura, Marc, and Hannah are all alum of Houghton University and hope that their openly LGBT presence will bring light to the community with their message that all of us are beautifully and wonderfully made.
