The rumors had some truth as Taco Bell considers move to “Microtel plaza”

The talk of a Taco Bell has been happening, well for two decades, but much more recently. Some had hoped that they would move into the long vacant “Stillwater” location, or some of the vacant spaces on the Bolivar Road. It seems the franchise would rather build a new location and it will be tied to the Microtel Inn investment group Indus Hospitality, who also owns the Dunkin Donuts.
Currently the space between Dunkin Donuts and Main Street is a mini no-man’s-land and offers a prime location for a new business.
Labor issues and services issues have plagued the Dunkin Donuts since the pandemic. With a real labor shortage at hand, will this be a top notch Taco Bell or another mediocre chain operation in Wellsville?
