The talk of a Taco Bell has been happening, well for two decades, but much more recently. Some had hoped that they would move into the long vacant “Stillwater” location, or some of the vacant spaces on the Bolivar Road. It seems the franchise would rather build a new location and it will be tied to the Microtel Inn investment group Indus Hospitality, who also owns the Dunkin Donuts.

This poll question brought to you by Hart’s Jewelry in downtown Wellsville

Currently the space between Dunkin Donuts and Main Street is a mini no-man’s-land and offers a prime location for a new business.

Labor issues and services issues have plagued the Dunkin Donuts since the pandemic. With a real labor shortage at hand, will this be a top notch Taco Bell or another mediocre chain operation in Wellsville?

This poll offers three easy choices: Yes we love Taco Bell and bring it on! OR No, please anything but TB! OR Who cares what it is, we need development of any kind!

While we vote, lets slobber over the new weekly specials at the Rosebush in Alfred, an independently owned family operation dedicated to Allegany County:
