Norma E. Dennis, 85, of Gardner Heights, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Highland Park Care Center in Wellsville. She was born in Wellsville on October 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Harold and Rose (Brownell) Hunt. On March 17th, 1953 she married Robert E. Morse Sr., with whom she had her seven children.

She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed playing cards, going to casinos, watching the Buffalo Bills play, and spending time with family and friends. She was a life member of the VFW Post 2530 Auxiliary, and member of the Morrison Hayes American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 702.

She is survived by: her children, Robert E. (Gloria Dash) Morse Jr. of Wellsville, Brenda (Dave) Hogan of Wellsville, Yvonne (Mike) Meyers of Scio, Connie (Jim) Stebbins of Wellsville, Diane Schwager of Wellsville, Sue (Dan) Perry of Scio, and David (Denice) Morse of Ohio; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly Clark of Andover, and Sandra E. Jackson of Wellsville; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by: an infant brother, Harold Hunt Jr.; brother, Lester Hunt; and sister, Linda Hunt.

The family would like to thank Highland Park for her care and her friends at Gardner Heights.
