It is with great sadness in writing of the sudden passing of our brother Mike, (Michael Brian Panton) on January 2nd, 2023, at Olean General Hospital from a very short illness.
Mike was born February 25, 1955 in New York and resided in Andover for most of his life, and attending Andover Central School. He was an avid outdoorsman with great knowledge of all wildlife. He was most known for his love of hunting with gun and bow, as well as fishing. Mike was a sports fanatic too, a die-hard NASCAR and football fan.
He had worked at various companies and jobs throughout his life. A few being Halliburton, Vanbron, and Otis Eastern, as well as logging with his friends. He was also a skilled stone mason.
He is survived by sisters, Lynn Panton of Rochester NY, and Sara Panton of Tomball TX. Brother Tim Panton (Audrey Appling) of South Dayton NY. Nephew Brian Panton of North Adams MA, and many extended family members.
He was predeceased by; his parents, Charles Brian and Rhea (Perry) Panton
There will be no services planned at this time.
