Allegany County Election numbers are looking ‘pretty good’ according to officials. As of October 14th, the Allegany County Board of Election says 952 ballots have been sent out and 209 have been returned. Of those sent out, 337 are Democrat ballots and 71 have been returned while 439 GOP have been sent or picked up and 102 have been returned.
Countywide, twelve conservative ballots have been sent and five have been returned. A single Working Family’s ballot has been sent, but not has not been returned while election officials say 163 “others” have been sent out and “31” have been returned. Allegany County Election Officials say there have been no reported issues “at this time.
According to the county Board of Elections:
“All normal poll sites will be open. Remember the Caneadea Town Hall & Wellsville Legion are no longer used as poll sites. Caneadea voters will use the Houghton Fire Hall & the Wellsville voters can choose between the Brookside Wesleyan or Crosstown Alliance Churches.”
