The Wellsville Sun was at the scene as a man was taken to Jones Memorial Hospital for an alleged stabbing wound to the stomach and a woman was taken into custody.
The female did not make it easy on members of the New York State Police or Wellsville Village Police officers as she resisted arrest once in the car.
She was taken by Wellsville ambulance to Jones Memorial Hospital after the hospital was secure to take both patients.
We will have more information and a video from the scene. State Police investigators are still interviewing witnesses.
The incident took place at an apartment at 187 Maple Avenue.
