The “Lions” announce contributions for April, May, and June 2022
The Wellsville Lions Club is dedicated to serve the greater Wellsville Community in keeping with Our Motto: “We Serve.” One of the ways we do this is through donations in response to requests. If anybody is in need of our services or financial help, please contact any Lions Club member or visit us on Facebook.
The following is a list of funds made available to the community by the Wellsville Lions Club in the months of April, May and June 2022.
$1,500 in Scholarship payments were made
$1,000 to Lions John and Arielle Waide after house fire
$150 to BPOE 1495 to sponsor a hole for their golf tournament
$200 donation to the Allegany County Association for The Blind
$1,000 donation to Lions Camp Badger to support the camp
$150 donation to the Andover Wetlands Kids Fishing Derby
$1,300 donation to the American Diabetes Association to send two kids to summer camp
