The concert music series that showcases the best of local music, the David A. Howe Library, and downtown Wellsville is back!! Music on the Lawn, founded many years ago by longtime community activist Kathryn Ross, has brought crowds a Thursday night delight for decades now.

This season has several regional favorites, of course Terry Buchwald as Elvis is a big deal for many. Local artists like Devon Reagan, Eric Scutt, and Andy Glanzman will all hit the “MOTL” stage this summer.

Kicking off the summer is “Buffalo Rose,” from Pittsburgh, PA, a six person band who describe themselves as:

“Buffalo Rose is a wildly charismatic six-piece modern folk/Americana band from Pittsburgh that will change your entire perspective on acoustic music. They take the singer-songwriter tradition to a new level by crafting original songs which are emotive, meticulously arranged, and inspired by a world of idiosyncratic influences that never let a dull or predictable moment creep in.”
