Congratulations to Antonio Chudy, a senior at BRCS, for completing the Master Gardener program in conjunction with Cornell Cooperative Extension

Master Gardeners are volunteers who provide educational outreach by equipping home-gardeners with research-based information. Antonio attended multiple classes each week as part of the training; many evenings and weekends were spent reading and researching multiple aspects of gardening, from site preparation to nutrient deficiencies to pests. The Master Gardener program was above and beyond Antonio’s regular schoolwork and is a testament towards his dedication to the science of soil and plants.

The video below is an abbreviated version of the presentation Antonio gave to the BRCS Board of Education as part of the program.
