All arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court

Saturday April 2, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 21 of Wellsville, and an 18 year old Wellsville youth, charging them each with one count of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The charges stem from an incident that took place on South Brooklyn Avenue in the Village. The adult and the youth were both processed, issued appearance tickets and released. They are both due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm

Sunday April 3, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 43 of Wellsville, charging him with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more, Aggravated DWI w/BAC of .18% or more and Failed to Keep Right. The charges stem from a traffic stop on South Broad Street in the Village. He was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.

Wednesday April 6, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested Daniel E. Fronczak, age 46 of Bolivar, charging him with two counts of Petit Larceny. The charges stem from two incidents that took place at Kwik Fill on North Main Street in March and April. Fronczak was processed, issued appearance tickets and released. Fronczak is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.

*Name published because Fronczak is a repeat offender and public menace.

Wellsville Police arrested Kyle J. McAndrew, age 29 of Rexville, charging him with Burglary 2nd (Class C Felony), Criminal Contempt 1st (Class E Felony), Criminal Mischief 4th and Harassment 2nd. The charges stem from an incident that took place on Cameron Street. McAndrew was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. McAndrew was committed to the Allegany County Jain on $500.00 cash bail. McAndrew is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.

Monday April 11, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 36 of Wellsville, charging him with Harassment 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on North Main Street in the Village. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 19th at 4:30 pm.
