The Allegany Artisans is looking for creative new Artisans.

By Andrew Harris

Thirty five years ago, a group of artists created a network, one with a grand showing every autumn. Thousands of guests entered local studios over the years, an authentic experience if there ever was one. The weekend guests are treated to an inside look at where artists create and where they live.

The Allegany Artisans Studio Tour is an annual cooperative event that includes artisans of diverse styles, tastes and traditions working with clay, wood, metal, fiber, jewelry, paint, glass, paper, wax & more!

In 2021 the tour featured 32 different artists and those interested in getting involved with the 2022 tour please contact use using www.alleganyartisans.com.

Note to Artists:

You must create and show your own works of art. It is a juried show, applications are due May 13th, with jury being May 16th. The tour is October 15 and 16, with the option of Friday the 14th. We are a family of great people who take great pride in their work.
