Grammy Nominated Professor Louie & The Crowmatix to Perform at WCAC

WELLSVILLE,NY- Live music season is upon us and with that comes the exciting announcement that on April 1st at 8pm, the Grammy-nominated group Professor Louie & The Crowmatix will be bringing their legendary Americana sound to the historic Wellsville Creative Arts Center stage.

Christened “Professor Louie by none other than Rick Danko, the renowned bass player for the legendary band called “The Band”, Louie is a seasoned live performer, prolific recording artist and versatile multi-instrumentalist. Louie also wears the hat of award-winning recording Producer and Engineer, capturing the talents of some of the world’s most highly acclaimed musicians. The Crowmatix themselves have a rich history of collaborating with legendary musicians such as Bob Dylan, Levon Helm &The All Stars, The Band, Guy Davis and Van Morrison to name just a few.

Described by Midwest Record as “Killer Americana to the Max”, this Woodstock NY group is steeped in Rock ‘n’ Roll, Blues, Gospel and American Roots music. Their latest recording Strike Up The Band on Woodstock Records was released February 25th, 2022 and has already earned the RMR Radio Charts at #17.

The Arts Center Cafe offers a full wine and beer menu from some of the finest breweries and wineries from the Finger Lakes area.
