Village of Wellsville Board meeting this Monday 1/24/22, read agenda

The Village of Wellsville, led by Mayor Randy Shayler will hold a regular meeting on Monday January 24th at 6pm in the village offices on Main Street Wellsville. This meeting will feature some interesting highlights:

  • Jeff Stevens from Alfred state coming to talk about developing land on on Proctor Road ? We will report back the nature off that possible development.
  • New Business!! Susan Freeman is starting a nutrition club on Main Street in early February.
  • Mayor Shayler will move to approve a fire department BBQ fundraiser and a special permit for Wellsville High School’s 2022 graduation ceremonies.
  • Trustee Pearson will move to pay the bills and no other village trustee has any business planned.

MAYOR’S BUSINESS:

  1. ICS Proclamation
  • Request acceptance and approval of the Business License Application from Susan Freeman for a nutrition club, “Be-You-Tiful Nutrition,” to be located at 94 N. Main Street, Wellsville.  The anticipated business start date is February 5, 2022.
  • Request acceptance and approval of the Application for a Special Event Permit for Dyke Street Engine Co. #2 and Wellsville Fire Company’s Spring Chicken BBQ that will take place on Sunday, March 27, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at 89 East Hanover Street.
  • Request acceptance and approval of the Application for a Special Event Permit for the Wellsville High School Graduation to be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 beginning at 7:00 pm.  Arrangements are the same

TRUSTEES’ BUSINESS:

  1. Request acceptance and approval of the vouchers as listed in the Abstract of    Vouchers dated January 24, 2022.
  2. Request acceptance and approval of the Treasurer’s Report, bank reconciliations, posting journal and financial reports for December 2021.
