The Bolivar Richburg Central School District sent this message to the community today at about 1:30pm:
“Dear Bolivar-Richburg CSD Parents and Guardians:
We are writing to notify you that after consulting with the district’s medical director and due to the high infection rate in the community and district, we will be switching to 100% virtual learning district-wide starting 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗.
Meal pick-up information is also available on the BRCS homepage. Students in grades 6-12 will be following a virtual schedule which can be accessed here: https://www.brcs.wnyric.org/domain/171.”
Superintendent of Schools, Michael Reztlaff, penned this detailed explanation of the situation:
