Wellsville Police arrested Michael J. Simon, age 44 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd (Class D Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (Convicted Felon). The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street in September of 2020. Simon was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Simon was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 19th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Garry J. Gilroy, age 61 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Mischief 3rd (Class E Felony). The charge stems from an incident that took place on Martin Street in the Village. Gilroy was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Gilroy was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on November 16th at 4:30 pm.
Wellsville Police arrested Jeramia C. English, age 25 of Wellsville, charging him with Menacing 3rd, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd. The charges stem from an incident that took place on West State Street in August of 2021. English processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. English was committed to the Allegany County Jail on Bail and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on October 12th at 4:30 pm.
