Virgil Brent Dietze, 55, Shinglehouse

Virgil Brent DIETZE, 55, of Shinglehouse, PA, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in his home.  

Born July 22, 1966, in Olean, NY, he was the son of Kenneth John and Jacqueline Eva Howard Dietze.  A 1984 graduate of Oswayo Valley High School, he was employed by Ram Forest Products in Shinglehouse.  An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and atv riding.  

Surviving are:  a son, Brent Thomas (Jenna Maxson) Dietze of Shinglehouse;  two granddaughters, Cienna Dietze and Willow Vincent;  three brothers, Michael H. Dietze of Summerville, SC, Roger M. (Vicki) Dietze of Shinglehouse, and David A. Dietze of Cartersville, GA;  three nephews, Joshua D. Dietze of Cartersville, GA, Nicholas B. (Shelby) Dietze and Anthony J. (Anna Mallison-Austin) Dietze, both of Shinglehouse;  three aunts, Marilyn G. (Felix) Casacelli of Indiana, PA, Geraldine “Ella” Howard and Yvonne Milliken, both of Shinglehouse;  an uncle, Paul W. (Debbie) Dietze of Shinglehouse;  and many cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Gregory K. Dietze and Gary G. Dietze.  

A gathering to celebrate Virgil’s life will be held on a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Shinglehouse American Legion.
