A lot has happened in the world of sports over the last week including Jessica Pegula, the daughter of Buffalo Bills’ owners Terry and Kim Pegula qualifying for the USA Olympic tennis team.

Giannis Antetokounpo

Also, the NBA Finals start tonight with the Phoenix Suns taking on the Milwaukee Bucks. The Suns punched their ticket by beating the Los Angeles Clippers 4-2 in the semifinals. Likewise, the Bucks took down the Atlanta Hawks in the semifinals 4-2, winning the final two games without 2x MVP Giannis Antetokounpo. It’s the Bucks’ first appearance in the finals since 1974, and the Suns’ first since 1993.

In MLB news, the Toronto Blue Jays continue their residency at Buffalo’s Sahlen Field. Meanwhile, the New York Yankees remain a .500 ball club heading toward the all-star break and the trade deadline.

In addition, the UEFA EURO is heating up with the semifinals set to begin. In a tantalizing matchup, unbeaten Italy takes on Spain at Wembley Stadium in England. In the other match, England goes head to head with Denmark, the “Cinderella” of the tournament if you will. Notably missing from the competition is early favorite France, who lost to Switzerland in the round of 16 on penalty kicks.

Lastly, Max Verstappen of team Red Bull won the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday. While Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton of team Mercedes finished in 2nd and 4th respectively. Finally, with an unlikely podium finish, Lando Norris of team Mclaren claims 3rd.
