Public Notice: Planned Power Outage for the Village of Wellsville During Early Morning Hours of June 13th

Share:

The Village of Wellsville continues working on upgrades to our main electric transmission substation to improve our future reliability for our customer base.  Our second phase of this project is ready to install so power to the entire Village will be terminated again for approximately six (6) hours so that the new equipment can be installed.  This outage is scheduled as follows.

POWER WILL BE OFF from 12:00 AM (MIDNIGHT) UNTIL 6:00 AM ON SUNDAY JUNE 13, 2021.  PLEASE TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT ANY ELECTRONIC DEVICES AND EQUIPMENT IN YOUR HOMES PRIOR TO AND DURING THIS EVENT.

If weather creates unsafe conditions to perform work on the scheduled date, a rain date has been set for June 20, 2021 at the same scheduled times.  We will give the public as much notice as possible with any changes to the schedule listed above.  If you have any questions or concerns you can contact the Village of Wellsville Department of Public Works office at 585-596-1710.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we move forward with this very important work.
