Highland Park and Certified Traffic Controllers Team Up To Say Thank You(with Ice Cream)
Some of the real unsung heroes of the pandemic are getting a big thank you tomorrow in honor of National Nurses Week. At a time when we can’t appreciate nurses enough, Highland Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center decided to treat the nurses at Jones Memorial Hospital to free ice cream this Thursday May, 13th at 1pm.
Highland Park Admissions Coordinator, Alisa Swartz, who has organized the big thank you, said, “The event is scheduled for tomorrow at Jones Memorial Hospital from 1pm to 3pm we will be located in the physician’s parking lot.”
When asked more about why this event is important, Swartz explained:
“…..these nurses deserve it! Happy National Nurses Week to all the nurses out there who make this world go around. Highland Park wants to show how much we appreciate the nurses at Jones Memorial Hospital “
Certified Traffic Controllers, a longtime Andover business, is bringing a traffic message board to draw attention to the event and thank nurses for the heroic work during the pandemic.
