“RED, WHITE & BUBBLY” Mystery Wine Pull Added To Big Day In Angelica

Share:

Angelica, NY…..      May 22nd is an auspicious day in Angelica!   It’s Community Lawn Sales day, Farmers’ Market opening day, Library Book Sale day, plus…

… the Allegany County Democratic Committee will host a Mystery Wine Pull Fundraiser on Saturday, May 22nd, 2021 at 22 W. Main St., Angelica, NY.   This is a drop-in event, open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.   Everyone aged 21 or above is welcome.  You need not be a registered Democrat to attend.

Every ticket purchased entitles its holder to pull one wrapped “mystery” bottle.  Bottles retail up to $30 and many have quality ratings in the 90s and above.  Tickets are $20 for adults 21 and over.

According to event organizer Karen Patterson, “We’ve acquired a mouthwatering selection of crisp whites, delicate pinks, and big, juicy reds – both sparkling and still — from vintners as near as California and as exotic as France, Portugal, Italy and Argentina. You might pull a varietal (Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot) or you may pull an effervescent prosecco, a sweet white blend or a refreshing red table wine.”

Presale tickets are available from any committee member.  A small number of tickets will be available at the door.  To purchase tickets on-line, visit our FB page (Allegany County Democratic Committee) or follow this link:  actblue.com/donate/winepull

The space will be set up for social distancing. Masks are required for entry. If you can’t make it to Angelica on the 22nd, contact us for alternate arrangements to pick out your mystery bottle. For more information, please call 585-610-4321 or email info@alleganycountydemocrats.org
