An overnight search for a man missing in Alma ended on a positive note. State Police and a Forest Ranger responded late Sunday evening to an area along the 106 Road.
Crews and equipment were also brought in from Alma, Allentown and Willing fire departments as well as Wellsville EMS, Rescue and fire. A drone from the sheriff’s office was also utilized. Not long after taking off, the drone spotted the victim and led responders straight to him.
The man was described as “conscious and alert.” At 11:30 p.m. he was brought out of the woods to a waiting ambulance for an evaluation.
