A hour in the Howe Gallery with Magician Cris Johnson, and maybe a raven
The David A. Howe Library Presents…
Cris Johnson’s “The Edgar Allan Poe Experience” October 22nd at 5:30pm in the Howe Gallery
The David A. Howe Public Library invites you to join professional magician, Cris Johnson, for “The Edgar Allan Poe Experience.”
Edgar Allan Poe’s impact on literature cannot be overstated. He’s one of the most celebrated authors of all time, and he’s known for creating some of the spookiest and grisliest works ever written.
The man behind the Gothic horror is every bit as interesting as the horror itself — the theories about what actually killed him, and the character assassination that began almost the moment he was buried.
This 60-minute performance will feature some of Poe’s best works, ghostly messages appearing from beyond, and psychic revelations.
A spooky, interactive, free library program pitched squarely at an adult audience.
