WELLSVILLE, NY — The excitement is growing for the second annual Jingle & Glow, and a number of local businesses recently stepped forward as sponsors for this community-wide holiday celebration.
The second annual Jingle & Glow holiday light celebration will officially return on Saturday, November 28, kicking off the festive season alongside the Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce Hometown Holidays Parade. This year’s expanded event, organized by the Thelma Rogers Genealogical and Historical Society (TRGHS), has gathered backing from dozens of local businesses, civic groups and individuals to fund the preservation of Wellsville’s local history.
Anticipation for this year’s celebration has sparked a wave of new corporate and civic partnerships. Joining the event at the “Twinkle Level” are ALCO Federal Credit Union Members, Walker Business & Staffing Services, and Wellsville Brewing Co.
Each of these businesses has expressed excitement about being part of an event that is more than a beautiful holiday light display. Jingle & Glow celebrates the community, its people and the rich history that makes Wellsville and the surrounding area unique. “We are proud to support Jingle & Glow because it represents an investment in our entire community,” said Mike Miller, CEO, from ALCO Federal Credit Union. “”The fact that these sponsorships go to protect the history of Wellsville makes this partnership especially exciting for us”.
A diverse group of local businesses, service organizations and families have also stepped up at the “Glimmer Level,” including Gem Wealth Planning Group, Wellsville Elks Club, Marshall Green, Lehman’s Lawn Care, Wellsville Lions Club, Middaugh Real Estate, Inc., Olney Foust Funeral Homes, Root Water Well Specialists, Greyson Short & Family and Jay & Kristy Woelfel.
“We are thrilled with the growing support from individuals, businesses, foundations and service clubs, said event chair Jackie Comstock and Vice President of the Thelma Rogers Genealogical Historical Society which organizes this event. “We are incredibly grateful to these new sponsors for recognizing that Jingle & Glow has a purpose that extends beyond the holiday season,” she said. “Their support helps us continue building an event that the entire community can be proud of.”
Organizers are still accepting additional sponsors and individual donations as they finalize preparations for the display. Contributions are tax-deductible and directly support local historical preservation projects and programs. Those interested in learning more are encouraged to contact Jackie Comstock at 585-593-4551.
