This week, our associate spotlight shines on Ryan Mascho, RN, Clinical Lead Perioperative Nurse – a veteran of JMH for the past 25 years. Ryan has worked in Med/Surg as well as the OR and Kari Zwiefka notes that Ryan “…goes above and beyone to make sure patients receive quality and compassionate care.” Thank you for everything you do, Ryan!

What is your favorite part of working at Jones Memorial?

Ryan: My co-workers are like family; helping patients navigate through their surgical journey.

What inspired you to pursue working in healthcare?

Ryan: The many opportunities

Do you have a favorite song, playlist or podcast to get you through your day?

Ryan: I’ll listen to almost anything

Coffee or tea? Chocolate or vanilla? Early bird or night owl?

Ryan: Coffee (hot, iced or frozen), dark chocolate, early bird but not too early 🙂

Where can you be found outside of work?

Ryan: Camping, hanging out with family/friends

What’s your favorite local hot spot?

Ryan: My back porch with my puppies and family

What’s your dream vacation destination?

Ryan: Anywhere with a beach and my family

What’s your go to snack or comfort food?

Ryan: Trail mix

Ryan: Reliable
