Mycology Class: Growing an Outdoor Mushroom Bed

Sam Warren will be back in the library to show patrons how to grow an outdoor mushroom bed! This technique can be applied to gardening, landscaping, and more.

Sam Warren is a citizen mycologist, outdoor educator, and commercial mushroom forager from Almond, NY.  He’s certified in wild mushroom safety in 13 states as well as a NYSOGA licensed New York State hunting and hiking guide. His passion for mycology has found him leading forays, running workshops and speaking on panels at various mycology festivals across the North East.
