Memorial Day is upon us and Whitesville NY is set to honor the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice in war with traditional community fun. Events begin on Sunday May 24th with the Whitesville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary events. Come to the ballfield on Mill Street from 1pm til 3pm for games, lunch, and Cornhole!!
Be sure to pre-register your team, nice cash prizes and all events are FREE!!
Memorial Day proper, Monday May 25th will be the big celebration with a good old-fashioned parade, a cool car show, a kids fun, and the best fire department chicken BBQ around.
The Village of Whitesville invites residents and visitors to join in a full day of Memorial Day activities on Monday, May 25, 2026.
This cherished annual tradition honors our nation’s heroes and brings our community together for a day of remembrance, celebration, and family fun.
The day will begin with the Memorial Day Parade, followed by a Memorial Day Service in the cemetery.
A Community Celebration & Car Show will take place on Marietta Avenue, featuring a Kids Fun Zone, food, boba drinks, and more.
Events will continue into the afternoon with parade award presentations, a Lucky Duck Draw, and the availability of the popular Whitesville Fire Department Chicken BBQ.
“We are proud to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and to celebrate the strength of our community”’ said community members. “We encourage everyone to come out, bring the family, and enjoy a meaningful and fun filled day together.”
