A Wellsville Development Corporation Volunteer Program
The WDC Collective program connects community members who want to support Wellsville Development Corporation initiatives with volunteer opportunities. It allows individuals to contribute their time, talents, and enthusiasm without the time commitment needed for board membership. This volunteer group is a flexible way to support Wellsville, meet new people, and help keep Wellsville a vibrant place to live, work, and play!
Who It’s For:
Community members who:
- Want to make a positive impact in the community.
- Enjoy volunteering at events and local initiatives.
- Want to support economic development and community vibrancy.
- Prefer a flexible, low-commitment volunteer role rather than serving on a board.
How the Program Works
WDC Collective volunteers may help with:
- Event setup and cleanup.
- Greeting guests and checking people in.
- Selling tickets or raffle items.
- Helping with community events.
- Helping with small projects or beautification efforts.
- Supporting special initiatives throughout the year.
Volunteers can choose when they are available, and there is no minimum time commitment. When volunteers are needed, the WDC will reach out, and Collective Volunteers can simply respond “yes” if they are available to help.

“The program has already generated strong interest, and we’re excited to officially launch the WDC Collective,” said Molly Cole, President of the Wellsville Development Corporation. “This initiative creates an easy and welcoming way for people to get involved and make a difference in our community.”
The WDC Collective was first announced at the organization’s annual event, Banter, Business and Beverages, held on April 16.
