From GVCS,
Seven Genesee Valley Central School students were inducted into the National Honor Society at a ceremony held on March 20. The NHS recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
The ceremony featured a guest speaker — GVCS alum Michael Harrington, Class of 2016, who spoke on the topic of service. Michael currently serves his community as a patrolman for the Village of Bath Police Department.
Students were presented with their awards and pins by NHS advisors Kim Douglas and Sarah Horne, along with Secondary Principal Sara Donlon and Superintendent Dr. Paige Kinnaird.
