Allegany County Sheriff’s Office partners with Alfred State Police Academy for extensive training

Attached is a photo of the attendees of the 2026 Police Supervisor Course held at the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Alfred State Police Academy.
Graduates attended a 115 hour course in Police Supervision that included such topics as: Ethics, Various Roles of the Supervisor, Use of Force, Civil Liability, Community Policing, Critical Incident Management, Employee Assistance, Post Traumatic Incident Procedures, Contemporary Police Issues and others.
