Wellsville, NY — The Wellsville Creative Arts Center Café, located inside the Wellsville Creative Arts Center, announces that the Canaseraga Soup & Coffeehouse will be concluding its operations at the Art Center due to unforeseen circumstances. Their final day of service in Wellsville will be February 15th. The Canaseraga team will continue serving their customers at their original location in Canaseraga.

The Wellsville Creative Arts Center, has been proud to host the Canaseraga Soup & Coffeehouse over the past year. Their presence has brought warmth, creativity, and exceptional food to the space.

With their departure, the café space now becomes an exciting opportunity for a new entrepreneur interested in opening a coffeehouse or café in a fully equipped, turnkey environment. The facility includes a commercial kitchen, seating for up to 80 guests, and the flexibility to host special events throughout the year. The Art Center is willing to offer very favorable terms to support a motivated startup or experienced operator ready to carry on the café’s tradition.

Josie Kozlowski, co-owner of the café, said. “We’ve loved being part of the Wellsville Creative Arts Center. The community is awesome, and we’re thankful for every customer who shared a meal, a coffee, or a conversation with us. Andy and his team have been incredibly supportive from the very beginning right through to the end, and we truly appreciate everything they’ve done for us.”

“It’s been wonderful having the Canaseraga Soup & Coffeehouse team at the Art Center,” said Andy Glanzman, founder of the Wellsville Creative Arts Center. “Their food and pastries were truly exceptional, and they brought a warm, creative energy to the space. While I’m sad to see them go, I’m grateful for everything they contributed to our community.” With their departure the space now becomes a tremendous opportunity for someone to launch their own business here at the art center. Everything needed to build a successful café is already in place, and the cost of getting started is remarkably low.

The Wellsville Creative Arts Center is seeking mature, experienced individuals or teams who are passionate about food, community, and creativity.

Although the café space will be temporarily closed during this transition, the Wellsville Creative Arts Center remains fully open. All classes, workshops, and programs will continue as scheduled, and Wednesday Night Open Mic will carry on without interruption. The temporary café closure will not affect the Art Center’s normal operations or mission.
