Allegany County Attorney Allison Carrow announces candidacy for County Judge

Carrow will seek to replace the retiring Honorable Judge Terrance Parker in the November 2026 election

Allison Carrow, County Attorney, is officially announcing her candidacy for Allegany Court Judge today. Ms. Carrow was appointed County Attorney in 2022 and serves as legal counsel to the Board of Legislators and all County departments and their employees.  Prior to being promoted to her current role, Ms. Carrow was the First Assistant County Attorney in the Chautauqua County Attorney’s Office, where she handled all facets of family and civil court matters and prosecuted juvenile delinquency cases. Earlier in her career, Ms. Carrow had a private law practice in Jamestown, New York. While in private practice, Ms. Carrow served on the Attorney for Children panel. Allison is a graduate of Alfred University and Syracuse University College of Law, and she lives in Wellsville, New York.

“This is an exciting yet challenging time for our community,” says Ms. Carrow.  “I believe that my experiences over the past 21 years while practicing law have provided me with the knowledge, interpersonal skills, and perspective necessary to be impartial, fair, and committed to justice. Therefore, I ask for your support as the next Allegany County Court Judge.”
