Town of Caneadea Public Hearing on Variance Request set for January 14

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON AREA VARIANCE REQUEST

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Caneadea at the Town Hall, 8911 State Route 19, Caneadea, New York, at 6:30 P.M. on January 14, 2026 concerning an area variance to build a 12’ by 35’ two-story building for storing a boat and dry goods storage by the property owners.  Specifically, they seek relief from the setback requirements from adjoining property boundaries and roads as well as the 20% limitation of lot percentage that may be built upon established by the Town of Caneadea Zoning Law. Applicants William and Mary Ellen Heitzenrater seek this variance for the property they own at 7971 Tate Road in Caneadea, Tax Parcel 77.11-2-29
