Dems Donate Dozens of Bags to Alfred University Food Pantry

Alfred, NY – Last week, the Allegany County Democratic Committee again hosted their social and networking get-together Coffee with Democrats, this time in Alfred, NY. They collected over two dozen bags of food and hygiene products for the Alfred University Food Pantry; one Committee member said, “I had to put my seats down in the car and take several trips” to transport them all.
“The ACDC deeply values these opportunities to help support communities in the county, especially at this time of particular need in our nation,” said another Committee member.
The Alfred University Food Pantry is open six days a week at the Judson Leadership Center on the University campus and serves over 70 individuals every month. Alfred University’s Health and Wellness Educator, James Ward, thanked the Committee and expressed, “Donations from the community keep our pantry running.
